Klaus Birk advises companies in creating digital experiences and conducts research in the field of design methodology. He worked for various design studios in Germany and the UK, most recently as a Design Strategist at Intuity Media Lab in Stuttgart. He helped clients such as EnBW, Bosch and Daimler to develop future digital products and urban mobility services.
Since 2011, Klaus is a professor of Media Design at DHBW. He studied communication design in Kiel and London, and lectured at various universities, among others ZHdK Zurich and University of the Arts London. His own creative work as well as that of his students regularly receives national and international design awards. In 2014, DHBW Media Design Department Ravensburg was selected best German University (Americas/Europe) in the renowned Red Dot Design Ranking.
